Touch a creature, that must be wearing at least a buckle or some straps of armor, even if this need not be enough to offer any real protection. That armor transforms and functions as a chain shirt with none of the usual penalties. The armor is also under the effect of a magic vestment spell, increasing the AC bonus of the armor by +1 per four caster levels.

Focus: The straps of armor to be transformed, which must be worn in the armor slot.

Codex:Review: Does either the initial straps, or the finished armor, require armor proficiency? Does it count as metal armor for a druid?--Mats Öhrman

>> Since it is a chain shirt, I assume a metal buckle is transformed and that the armor is metal. Shouldn't it be strips of armor? Of course, armor often has straps to fasten, but a piece that is armor (if it provides no protection) is probably a strip. --Urban Blom
