The Imperial Society and the temple of The Merchant has many licensed commercial spellcasters who guarantee their neutrality in all matters, and finding a commercial spellcaster is usually not a problem on a civilized world.

A commercial spellcaster will cast any spell on demand, but the price is steep. The base price of a commercial spell is twice that recommended in the Player's Handbook. If you are a member in good standing of a church or have contacts with a friendly sorcerer or bard with the right spell, the same service usually only costs half as much.

Usually, an appointment can be made the next day, but sometimes a waiting period of several days is required. In urgent cases it is usually much harder to find a spellcaster with the right spell prepared, and the price increases by 100%.

Finding a comercial spellcaster willing to go into the field to cast spells is very hard, and involves a price hike of 300%, but see also Telespell.

Base Price

Spell level * Caster Level * 20 cr

+2* material component cost
+20* any XP component cost
+10% of the cost of any focus (excluding a divine focus)
