Rappelling: Climbing down a rope can be done at a much accelerated rate by rappelling. This requires a belt or other sturdy attachment point on your person. Rappelling is done at normal land speed, or at double land speed at a -5 penalty on the Climb check. A creature with climb speed still uses land speed to determine rappelling speed.
