Summon Guardian (General)

Guardian is not a type of creature, different creatures assume this role in different parts. All guardians have an area of responsibility, and can only be summoned in an area suited to their nature. GMs are encouraged to interpret this liberally. Guardians are not enemies of fey, but the two often work at cross purposes even when both strive to benefit the natural world. Summoned creature are actually spirits manifested by the spell, and even if they are knowledgeable, they have no past life.

Prerequisites: Summon nature's ally spell or ability, non-chaotic alignment.

Benefit: Add the following creatures to the list you can summon with summon nature's ally.

Summon natures ally I Catfolk^B3, leaf leshy^B3, kitsune^B4, ratfolk^B3, tengu.

Summon natures ally II Almiraj^B4, darkmantle, jack-o'-lantern>sup>^B4, leaf ray^B4, lizardfolk, gourd leshy^B3.

Summon natures ally III Blink dog^B2 (can dimension door), fungus leshy, kappa^B3, pipefox^B4, koto-furunishi (tsukumogami), shikigami (kami), thoqqua^B2.

Summon nature's ally IV Aranea^B2, flytrap leshy, fukujin (kami), hieracosphinx (sphinx)^B3, kasa-obake (tsukumogami), seaweed leshy^B3, tanuiki^B3, unicorn.

Summon nature's ally V Boroboroton (tsukumogami), kodama (kami), lotus leshy^B5, shambling mound.

Summon nature's ally VI Behir, criospinx (sphinx)^B3, dosojin (kami), girtablilu^B3, grey render, gynosphinx (sphinx)^B3, kirin^B3, treant (cannot animate trees).

Summon nature's ally VII androsphinx (sphinx)^B3, Kapre^B4, treant, zuishin (kami).

Summon natures ally VIII aoandon, cat lord, lukwata^B3, sea serpent, thunderbird^B2.

Summon nature's ally IX Kirin, emperor^B3, red reaver, zuijin (kami).
