The taser is an incapacitating weapon, firing darts that give off electic pulses to shock the target. Intended as a police weapon, it has since become a favourtie among criminals who want to avoid killing.

Because the battery is housed in the gun, there must be a wire between the gun and the dart, which gives the weapon an absolute maximum range of about ten meters.
