The duskblade is a combination warrior/mage from Player's Handbook II, p 19. With a spell list focused on aiding himself in combat the duskblade is nothing like a true mage, yet might satisfy some people's craving for a magical warrior. Despite the name, there is nothing sneaky about the class.
If what you want is a full mage/warrior, take a look at the Bladesinger prestige class from Complete Warrior.
