Most of the ranger archetypes I’ve written are very atomized; each covers a very narrow field and thus works with many other archetypes. This is because the ranger has so many questionable class abilities – spells, favored enemy, and favored terrain. As a byproduct of this, it becomes very natural to combine archetypes.

Archetype Notes

Many ranger archetypes are very atomized; each covers a very narrow field and thus works with many other archetypes. This is because the ranger has some questionable class abilities – spells, favored enemy, and favored terrain.
