When you use your powers, you enter a trance until your next shot comes up. This makes it harder to notice things not immediately related to your powers and the situation at hand. Distractions like environmental conditions, traps, phone calls, distant explosions, allies, and bystanders are obfuscated for you, meaning you cannot use the perception element of your skills to notice or analyze such things but have to rely on your [[Reflexes (Action)|Reflexes]] instead.

This is a Method for using Powers in Action. Methods are a part of Traditions and define how Powers are used in each campaign.

Trance

Your powers work best when you are in a trance, and you are aware even when asleep.

Limitation

When you use your powers, you enter a trance until your next shot comes up. You cannot use Trigger Actions while in this trance. When asleep, you count as being in a trance, as outlined above. This allows you to act even when asleep, but you remain asleep.

Focus Condition

Trigger Action (Focus)

You enter into a trance (as above) for the rest of the scene. You can break out of the trance trough conscious effort - a basic action.
