In Greyhawk, these creatures are native to Nippon and of high caste there. Many Buke (warrior nobles) and Kuge (imperial court nobles) are nagai. They use the rules for Pathfinder nagai.
Traits
Eyes of the Scholar
You have a reputation for great wisdom, insight, and intelligence. When you are asked to answer a question where a Knowledge skill would be applicable, you can make an opposed Sense Motive check against everyone in your presence as a standard action. You can judge who among those you succeed against know most about the issue at hand (has the greatest applicable Knowledge skill bonus), and you can juggle the question over to any of those you succeed against by making an insightful (but uninformed) counter-question. Sense Motive is a class skill for you, and you gain a +1 trait bonus on Sense Motive checks.
Iridescent Scales
Your scales glisten in beautiful patterns, almost as if they had a light of their own. To wear jewelry with such beauty would simply be vulgar. You can get away with not wearing jewelry on social occasions where you would ordinarily be expected to do so. Your scale pattern is distinctive enough that you can identify yourself with it, much as you would using a signet ring. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Diplomacy checks for seduction.
Nagai Buke
You are a warrior noble of Nippon. You start out with a masterwork katana and wakizashi (called a dai-sho), and are always permitted to wear these weapons in social situations in Nippon. If the weapons are forcefully removed from you, you gain a +2 trait bonus on Intimidate until they are returned. If you appear in public without a dai-sho you suffer a -2 penalty on all Charisma skills and checks unless you are in disguise. As long as you are in disguise the penalty is negated, even if you fail (or even fail to seriously try to) fool any onlookers.
Nagai Kuge
You are an court noble of Nippon, servant to the sacred emperor. Some of the emperor's sacred grace rubs off on you. Once per day, you can use sanctuary as an spell-like ability at a caster level equal to your character level. The Will save DC against this ability is 10 + your Charisma modifier. You start play with a royal outfit.
Shed Skin
You can shed some of your skin to escape a tight spot. By taking one hit point of damage, you gain a +2 trait bonus on Escape Artist checks. You must use this ability after the roll, but before the DM announces the result. Escape Artist is always a class skill for you.
