The Wormwood is a pirate ship commanded by captain Barnabus Harrigan.

The Wormwood is a three-masted sailing ship, 100 feet long from stem to stern, and 30 feet wide amidships. The ship needs a minimum crew of 20.

“Caulky” Tarroon: The captain’s cabin girl.
Mr. Plugg: The Wormwood’s bullying and sadistic first mate. He is Captain Harrigan’s second-in-command, and his word is law on deck.
Master Scourge: The Wormwood’s boatswain and master-at-arms, and Mr. Plugg’s right-hand man.
Ambrose “Fishguts” Kroop: Ships cook, a drunkard.
Patch Patchsalt: Boatswain’s mate and sycophant of Plugg and Scourge.
Owlbear Hartshorn: Simpleton and “pet” of Mr. Plugg.
Cut-Throat Grok: The Wormwood’s quartermaster, a no-nonsense character with a huge scar across her neck.
Peppery Longfarthing: Sailing master and old friend of the captain.
Riaris Krine: Master gunner.
Kipper: Gunner’s mate and bootlicker for Plugg and Scourge.
Habbly Quarne, the “Stitchman”: Ship’s surgeon and carpenter.

Conchobhar Turlach Shortstone (swab): Gnome pirate wannabee.

Maheem (rigger): a big Zindian with a permanent scowl.
Slippery Syl Lonegan (rigger): an unhinged murderer who fled to sea to escape the gallows.
