Rules

  • Animal Companion are based on your hit dice (as a druid) once you gain them.
  • Full caster level.

Options

Urban ranger

UA 55 - Urban background and skills. A detective.

Extra: Option to replace animal companion with free Leadership feat at level 6.

No spellcasting

CW 13 - Replace spellcasting with specific supernatural abilities. Not available if you exchange your spells for extra feats per the option below.

Bonus feats.

All these bonus feats work only in Light Armor or No Armor. You can pick any feat that makes sense to a ranger - I am too lazy to make a list. It would be long.

  • You can choose not to get Favored Enemy and Combat Style. This gives a bonus feat every fourth level, and at level 1. That is level 1, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.
  • You can opt to be a ranger without spells. This gives a bonus feat every five levels, that is level 5, 10, 15, 20.
  • If you combine the two options above to get a bonus feat at every odd level, that is level 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19.

Druidic Ranger

A multiclass ranger/druid that is able to cast ranger spells may give up his ranger spellcasting ability and add one third of his ranger class level to his effective level as a druid when casting spells. This adds the ranger spell list to their druid spell list.
