Tireless Rage
This is the same as the rage ability, with the following exceptions.
- There is no limit on the number of rounds per day a tireless rager can rage.
- The tireless rager cannot enter a rage by spending a free action. Instead, she enters rage randomly under certain stressful conditions. With each condition that is fulfilled, there is half chance that she immediately enters rage. Check each time a condition applies; multiple rolls a round are certainly possible.
- Her turn begins in a combat round.
- She takes damage.
- She misses an attack, attribute roll, or skill check.
- She notices that she is the target of a hostile spell or spell-like ability.<ref name="VSM">In most cases spell effects are obvious and automatically noted. Against subtle spells such as charm, you notice that something happened on a successful saving throw.</ref>
- The barbarian or a friend can spend a standard action to provoke a rage by chewing her shield, battle cries, taunts, and so on.<ref name="DC0">This action is Perception DC 0 to notice, about as noticeable as casting a spell with verbal components. Remember range and circumstance modifiers.</ref>
- She can end a rage at will as a full-round action, and it ends after a minute out of action<ref name="Action">Combat or similar intense round-by-round action. Basically a rage continues as long as you count initiative.</ref>
- Keep track of the tireless rager's hit point score when she enters a rage. When the rage ends, the tireless rager automatically heals a number of hit points equal to her level. This ability cannot restore her to a higher hit point total than before the rage.
- A tireless rager is not fatigued at the end of a rage.
