Sneak
Stance
You can use Maneuver to sneak about unnoticed. Each of the following alert conditions help people notice you. Check this each time you move or take an action or when a condition changes.
- Make a move.
- Do a double move or draw attention to yourself. This can be an attack or obvious action.
- Be out of concealment. Concealment can be darkness (unless your quarry can see in the dark or has some other exceptional sense) or actual physical cover.
- Be within Spot meters from observers.
- Fail a Maneuver roll opposed by Spot.
- Add one for each clue the observers have.
Count the number of alert conditions:
Alerts | Result |
1 | You remain hidden |
2-3 | Watchers are alerted, but fail to spot you. They gain a clue to your location. |
4+ | You are spotted. |
It is possible to use tricks and stunts to mislead observers, making them lose clues. They also lose one clue at the end of each round.
