If you fulfill none of the conditions you are spotted automatically.

Stance

You can use Maneuver to sneak about unnoticed. Each of the following actions help people notice you. These are called alert conditions.

  • Make a move.
  • Do a double move or draw attention to yourself. This can be an attack or obvious action.
  • Be out of concealment. Concealment can be darkness (unless your quarry can see in the dark or has some other exceptional sense) or actual physical cover.
  • Be within Spot meters from observers.
  • Observers are alert and looking for sneakers.
  • Fail a Maneuver roll opposed by Spot.

Count the number of alert conditions:

Alerts Result
1-2 You remain hidden
3-4 Watchers are alerted, but fail to spot you.
5+ You are spotted.
