Unofficial rules compendium

The brave is a barbarian or bloodrager brought up in the way of the body. A tough upbringing and innumerable skirmishes have made him a warrior of unmatched resilience. A barbarian brave's body has a sheen of perfection that marks him as one of the warrior elite, while bloodrager braves often lean more towards a monstrous look.

Class Information

This is a martial arts archetype.

Publisher: Purple Duck Games

Starting Money: 2d6 × 10 gp (average 70 gp)

Class: Barbarian and bloodrager.

Hit Die: d12 (barbarian) or d10 (bloodrager).

Class Features

The brave has all the abilities of the barbarian or bloodrager, except as noted below.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A brave is proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with shields (except tower shields) but not with any armor.

Way of the Body Armor Bonus (Ex)

As long as he is not wearing any armor, a brave gains a circumstance bonus to natural armor equal to his Constitution bonus. He can use shields normally and the bonus stacks with both natural armor and with enchantment bonuses to natural armor. Note that temporary Constitution modifiers, such as those from bear's endurance, do not increase the armor class bonus from this ability.

Armored in Life

At 9th level, the natural armor from way of the body, as well as any shield it is used with, applies against incorporeal touch attacks, as if it had the ghost touch armor property.

Summary of Lost Class Abilities
