Homer Iliad Book I

Nestor Playbook

Life extension keeps people young, but most still get set in their ways, settling into a stable life. Though unageing, the world changes around them, dating skills besides those in immediate use. You lived this life, but something brought you out of it; a need for adventure, a new love, or unfortunate circumstances. Whatever the reason, you emerged into a world where most of your skills are obsolete and you have to truly restart from the beginning.

Touchstones:

Special Abilities

  1. Specialization: You found a use for your massive experience. Select a single Action when you gain this ability, you have +1d when using that ability.
  2. Breath: You used to be skilled at a lot of things, and some of that is still relevant. You never roll less than 1d for an Action, even if untrained.
  3. Memory: You retain vast if somewhat dated knowledge. When you roll Study to gather information from memory improve the degree of success by one category: Failure -> Opposed success -> Full Success -> Critical.
  4. Status: You have retained or recovered some of your former wealth and status. Your quality of life is one tier higher than normal. You find it easy to be invited to formal occasions and to approach figures of authority.
