Campaign Summary: Princess World - Frontier Kingdoms
In the vast marshlands reminiscent of Ankor Wat, a new kingdom flourishes under the leadership of three remarkable princesses: Claire, Princess of Chains; Nagalila, the Boa Princess; and Clover, the Bunny Princess. Together, they embark on a quest to unlock the secrets of ancient magic, aided by a group of Victorian-inspired explorers. With each episode, they draw closer to unlocking the ancient magic that lies buried beneath the marshlands, their journey filled with excitement, danger, and the promise of discovery.
Episode 1: The Start of Nutopia
In the first episode, our heroines explore their new kingdom and decide to name it Nutopia, short for nude utopia, because they all have a very relaxed attitude towards clothing. They set up a camp with white tents and comfy furnishings fit for royalty. While sitting around a campfire sharing stories, they are surprised by a visit from a group from Princess Academy, led by the wise but tough Granny Poppy, Princess of Knitting. These young princesses bring humor and chaos, accidentally leaving behind Princess Lila.
The interactions between the princesses are fun and charming, showing off their different personalities and building friendships in the wild jungle. Granny Poppy shares her adventure stories and teaches them about leadership and resilience. Meanwhile, Princess Lila, eager to prove herself, goes on a mischievous adventure into the ruins and meets a curious creature with glowing eyes, hinting at the magical mysteries ahead.
Episode 2: Elemental Encounters
Going deeper into the jungle, guided by their explorer friends, the princesses follow rumors of ancient magic. They find a hidden clearing with a pillar of light piercing through the canopy, lighting up the surroundings with a magical glow. Sensing something strange, they carefully approach and discover a deep pit covered in shadows.
With a mix of fear and curiosity, they go down into the depths, following the beam of light. In a huge chamber, they face a fearsome elemental creature made of earth, water, air, and fire. Despite its powerful presence, the princesses work together, using their courage and teamwork to defeat it. Clover, the Bunny Princess, distracts the monster, Clair, Princess of Chains, grabs a glowing floor tile, and Nagalila, the Boa Princess, helps everyone escape.
They win the battle and find that the floor tile is a mysterious artifact, a stone plate pulsing with yellow light. They take the artifact, excited and curious about its significance.
Episode 3: Dance of Rivalry
Invited to the neighboring Dance Academy kingdom, our princesses enter a world of elegance, grace, and competition. The three princesses of the Dance Academy—Hussar Princess of Sabers, Tutu Princess of Ballet, and Grace Princess of Grace—greet them with a mix of curiosity and skepticism.
In a series of impressive performances, tensions rise as our heroines try to earn respect in the academy's prestigious halls. From classical ballet to rhythmic gymnastics, each princess shows off her unique talents, leaving a mark on the audience.
As the competition heats up, the princesses get caught in a rivalry fueled by ambition and camaraderie. But amidst the dances, friendships start to grow, overcoming rivalries and uniting them in their love for dance.
As a symbol of their new friendship, the academy's princesses give our heroines a second glowing tile, a radiant azure one filled with the academy's enchanting spirit. With their collection of artifacts growing, the princesses move on to the next part of their journey, ready for whatever comes next.
Episode 4: Labyrinthine Lurkers
Exploring the ruins in their kingdom, our princesses run into the mysterious morlocks, guardians of the underground labyrinth. They also find little Lila, now known as Lila the Lost Princess because her magic is all about getting lost! Chased by the morlocks and using their smarts and bravery, the princesses navigate the tricky tunnels and find another glowing tile and a puzzling room with statues.
The room they discover has eight statues, each one representing a different creature or being. The statues are rough and leave much to the imagination, but their general shape can be guessed:
- A princess in a cheery power pose, full of confidence and determination.
- An elemental of mixed elements, swirling with energy and power.
- A mammal, maybe a dog or panther, ready for action with alert eyes and tense muscles.
- A reptile, like a gecko or monitor lizard, with scales shining in the dim light.
- A snake, coiled and ready to strike, its eyes sharp and clever.
- A bird of paradise, with vibrant, shiny feathers, wings spread wide.
- A morlock, standing silently, its features rugged from a hard life.
- A mysterious figure, not quite human or monster, shrouded in mystery.
In the middle of the room is a depression designed to hold nine tiles like the ones they've found. The princesses experiment with the tiles, placing them in different ways. Clover, the Bunny Princess, stands before the statue of the princess, with Claire, Princess of Chains, and Nagalila, the Boa Princess, helping her. They place the green tile next to Clover, the blue tile in the middle, and the yellow tile by the mammal statue. As they work on the puzzle, magic fills the room, turning Clover into an actual bunny. Though temporary, it gives them a clue about the room's secrets.
The princesses spend several tiring hours navigating the maze to escape, leaving Claire, Princess of Chains, exhausted and in need of sweet cakes, which they soon enjoy.
Episode 5: Troublesome Tribulations
Responding to problems in their kingdom, our heroines face new challenges. Clover's love for posing accidentally causes a rabbit invasion, creating chaos. Meanwhile, a blocked river causes communication issues because water elementals are blocking it. Granny Poppy, the Knitting Princess, is trying to take Lila the Lost Princess back to Princess Academy, but the blocked river stops them.
Investigating the problem, the princesses meet Princess Hussar, leader of the Sabres, her tough drill girls. They find that the way to the Dance Academy kingdom is also blocked by the water elementals, who have turned into a rough drill troupe, mimicking Hussar's troupe. Maybe Hussar and the Sabres first attracted these water elementals? Hussar thinks about attacking the elementals, but their numbers are too great.
In a clever move, the Nutopia princesses suggest a different plan: lure the elementals to a nearby bywater and convince them to stay there permanently, making a beautiful view. After some negotiation and sharing tea and cookies, Hussar agrees. Her troupe leads the elementals to the spot, with help from Nagalila, the Boa Princess.
Meanwhile, Claire, Princess of Chains, and Clover, the Bunny Princess, explore nearby and find a peaceful pool on a grassy slope, with the river in the background like a natural theatre backdrop. To their surprise, the slope is full of rabbits. Clover discovers their burrows hidden in the grass and makes friends with them, charmed by their playfulness. As they prepare their plan, Claire hangs Clover over the pool in magical chains, while she joins the approaching troupes—one led by Hussar and the other by water elementals. When Clover looks at the rabbits, they suddenly appear dressed in fancy clothes, like people having a leisurely afternoon. When distracted by the approaching troupes and then looking back, they are just rabbits.
At the bywater, with a grand display of magic and performance, Claire and Clover work together to trap the leader of the water elementals with magical chains, while the others perform for the amused audience of rabbits. This smart solution clears the river, allowing the princesses to go home, their bond with Princess Hussar strengthened by shared challenges and creative problem-solving.
Episode 6: Lost and Found
As things calm down in Nutopia, our heroines explore the jungle. They enter a mysterious ruin and are suddenly confronted by a huge figure—a six-armed goddess ready to attack.
Standing three meters tall, the goddess is fierce, but with teamwork and determination, the princesses defeat her. To their surprise, the goddess turns into a statue, showing the strange nature of this ancient place.
Soon after, the princesses meet a friendly tribe living in the ruins. They learn that the tribe consists of wandering storytellers who awakened the statue to guard their camp. The princesses and the tribe become friends and form an alliance. Together, they decide to unite under the Princess Kingdom, starting a new chapter of adventure and friendship.
Episode 7: Faction Fancy
As our princesses' kingdom gets ready to advance in tier, their faction shows up to inspect and celebrate.
- Clarity Shoal, Princess of Piranhas, the Nutopia faction contact
- Stella Moonbeam, Princess of the Tide
- Aurora Dawn, Princess of Eventide
- Aria Fireheart, the Seething Princess
- Sirius Starlight, Princess of Sparkles
The Sparkle Union princesses are impressed by a tour of the capital, but most of the time is spent on the beach, playing beach volleyball, gossiping, and flirting. Rumors are heard about Princess Academy's instability, suggesting the kingdom might fail unless helped.
Following this news, Princess Clover works on improving relations with Dance Academy and gives tips on handling the wilderness.
Episode 8: Greasy Grace
The explorers bring bad news; a dungeon has appeared near Dance Academy! Investigating, our princesses find that Grace, Princess of Grace of Dance Academy, and her dance troupe are already investigating the dungeon. Together, they clear the first floor, which is filled with slimes, traps, and gremlins. Gremlins are small, bent orange monsters that drool and leer at the princesses.
The dungeon seems more about shaming than hurting, leading to some funny falls, but the princesses manage the situation well. Monsters disappear when defeated, leaving minor drops.
The boss is a big, bloated Gremlin covered in slimes. He can throw slimes and explodes them when attacked, squirting orange jelly. Eventually, the boss is defeated and turns into a Morlock, who bows, thanks them, and quickly leaves. The loot is found and shared.
Afterward, the party goes to Dance Academy. The other princesses blame Grace for going to the dungeon alone, but they still have a party and cheer up. On Bunny Princess Clover's insistence, they all promise to enter the dungeon together next time.
Episode 9: Desolate Dungeon
After returning home and handling errands, the princesses meet up with friends from Dance Academy and enter the dungeon together. They descend a long spiral stair and exit onto an open heath, clearly an extra-dimensional space, with few clues on how to proceed. Nagalila, the Boa Princess, finds worg tracks, and they decide to follow.
In a ground depression, Nagalila loses the trail. They find a hidden entrance and enter a huge hall with rows of pools. Each pool shows a different place, sometimes with people but mostly empty. After some thinking, they guess the places and use a pool to teleport to Nutopia. Presumably, the Dance Academy princesses use their own portal, as they do not follow our heroines.
