The duration of the possession depends on the result of the ritual check. You can only be under the effect of one "Essence of" ritual at a time.

While under its ritual, the target takes on features of his totem animal, typically pointed ears, beast eyes, sharp teeth, or even a tail. He retains full control, but the spirit is distracting, making him behave in an animalistic manner. This has the following game effects.
