Grippli are much more reclusive that shibaten and tend to live on cliffs, deep in swamps, or in other areas few other humanoids would want to live.
Grippli in Nippon speak Common and Grippli, and have Catfolk, Celestial, Draconic, Goblin, Sylvan, Tengu, Vanara, and Yutu as bonus languages.
