Evil
Tiamat is the evil god of tyranny, pride, and greed. She is the patron of chromatic dragons and those whose lust for wealth or power overrides any other goal or concern. Her rivalry with Bahamut has made her sponsor those who seek to rival his claim to rulership. She commands her followers to:
- Hoard wealth, acquiring much and spending little. Wealth is its own reward.
- Take what you desire from others. Those who lack the strength to defend their possessions are not worthy to own them.
- Dominate others and use them to extend the reach of your power.
Tiamat is known as Abbathor among dwarves, Beltar among the Suel and Urdlen among gnomes. Her most important exarch is Hextor, the Oerdian god of tyranny and brother of Hieroneous. Other exarchs are Kurtumlak, an ascended kobold and the god of traps and Raxivort the god of goblins and rats.
