The St Cuthbert churches of the world are very divided, but each has a faction of cool-headed wise men who realize that safeguarding civilization as a whole needs to be taken seriously and demands cooperation. The Masons is a secret organization devoted to organizing this. It is secret because many loud-mouth members at lower levels in the organization demand their leaders be loyal to patriotic ideals.

Goods: Maces, clubs, and hammers, heavy armor.

Services: A mason can expect aid and shelter from any other mason. Masons can also generally get the respect and admiration of any St Cuthbert-worshiper after a short discussion. They wield little direct power, but the respect of the faithful can be a powerful thing indeed.
