Orcs, Goblins, Hobgoblins, and Bugbears are genetically one race and capable of interbreeding. Though each race tends to breed true, there are enough random births to repopulate a subgroup that has been largely made extinct over a few generations. Some scholars have speculated whether humans and elves are also part of this meta-race, since they can interbreed with each others and humans can interbreed with goblinoids, but the elven inability to breed with goblins discredit this theory.

Family

Clan. There is little outward difference between males and females and gestation is painful but short. Sexuality is a matter of domination, not gender, and offspring are incidental. Children are often raised by slaves or servants of lesser races.
