Magical Pet (General)
Benefit: Gain a limited version of the sorcerers familiar (PH 53). Your magical pet never learn the supernatural familiar abilities: share spells, empathic link, deliver touch spells, spell resistance, scry on familiar. Nor do you get the special bonus a familiar would give you. It otherwise functions as a familiar, but it is not a prerequisite for any ability that requires a familiar.
