Summon Guardian (General)

Guardian is not a type of creature, different creatures assume this role in different parts. All guardians have a ward or area of responsibility, and can only be summoned in the vicinity of such an area or object. Guardian creatures are not direct opponents of fey, but the two often work at cross purposes even when both strive to the benefit the natural world.

Prerequisites: Summon nature's ally spell or ability, non-chaotic alignment.

Benefit: Add the following creatures to the list you can summon with summon nature's ally.

Summon natures ally I Leaf leshyB3,

Summon natures ally II gourd leshyB3.

Summon natures ally III fungus leshy, koto-furunishi (tsukumogami), shikigami (kami].

Summon nature's ally IV Flytrap leshy, fukuinin (kami), kasa-obake (tsukumogami], seaweed leshyB3, unicorn.

Summon nature's ally V Boroboroton (tsukumogami), kodama (kami), lotus leshyB5.

Summon nature's ally VI Dosojin (kami), Greater Tengu, Yamabushi.

Summon nature's ally VII Zuishin (kami).

Summon natures ally VIII calikangISWG.

Summon nature's ally IX Kirin, zuijin (kami).

These kami are summoned out of their wards, which are always nearby. Stronger kami are likely to have the entire surrounding area as a ward.
