The bloodtained barbarian has a bloodline taint similar to that of the bloodrager that grants her bloodline powers, but not strong enough to give spells.
Class Information
This is a barbarian archetype, a rager with the bloodrager's bloodline powers but no other magic.
Hit Die: d12.
Class Abilities
The brave has all the class abilities of the barbarian, except as noted below.
Bloodline Taint
Each bloodtained barbarian has a source of magic somewhere in she heritage that empowers her rage with a monstrous taint. Sometimes this source reflects a distant blood relationship to a powerful being, or is due to an extreme event involving such a creature somewhere in she family's past.
A bloodtained barbarian must pick one bloodline upon taking she first level of bloodtained barbarian. Once made, this choice cannot be changed. These are the same bloodlines a bloodrager uses, but the monster rager gains only bloodline powers and nothing else from her bloodline.
The bloodtained barbarian gains bloodline powers at 1st level, 4th level, and every 4 levels thereafter. These powers normally manifest only when raging, but some powers are exceptions to this. The bloodline powers a bloodtained barbarian gains are described in her chosen bloodline. For all spell-like bloodline powers, treat the character's bloodtained barbarian level as the caster level.
If the bloodtained barbarian takes levels in another class that grants a bloodline, the bloodlines must be the same type, even if that means that the bloodline of one of the classes must change. Subject to GM discretion, the bloodtained barbarian can change her former bloodline to make them conform.
This replaces the rage powers at level 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20.
