Background

Best described as a "mercenary scientist", Dr Nooma (of Abo, Finland) is a middle aged woman with a keen mind and a talent for finding dangerous information. Under various assumed names, she takes on jobs with corporations and governments, only to leave once she has learned what she wants. Her occult interests are quite recent; she is starting to realise that there exists an alternate science, an ancient lode of pre-human knowledge.

She was invited to the Hellfire Club through her contacts at Insight, but she is not a ranking member of either organisation, considering herself a free agent.

She has recently set out on her own, as she considers Insight much to unwilling to share their information. She has travelled all over North America with the heroes, and made the most of all their Mythos experiences.

She went along with Lexington to Antarctica, and returned sane and none the wiser, but with new arcanovawe ideas.
