The Imperial Marine Corps has a program to ensure adequate magical suppost to frontline troops. This is available to officers and to personel of the following MOSs: Med Tech, Arcane Astrogator, Liaison Op, Techno Mage.
In the interest of flexibility, marine spellcasters have the final responsibility for outfitting themselves with wands and scrollware. But any such gear purchased for private funds and used in the service, will be refunded by the corps.
In adition to this, scrollware is available at half price, and loans can be taken to purchase it.
