|Unofficial rules compendium|
A crusader is a holy warrior, protected by fate and the strong right hand of her faith.
This is a martial arts archetype deliberately designed to be as similar to the regular paladin as possible.
Role: Crusaders fight in the forefront alongside fighters, barbarians, and other melee combatants, using presence and verve to survive.
Hit Die: d10.
These are all the class features of the crusader.
Armor and Weapon Proficiency
Crusaders are proficient with all simple and martial weapons and with light armor and shields (excluding tower shields).
Way of Life Armor Bonus (Ex)
When wearing light or no armor, the crusader adds his Charisma bonus (if positive) as a dodge modifier to armor class and CMD. He loses this bonus when he wears medium or heavy armor, when he carries a medium or heavy load, or when he is denied his Dexterity bonus to armor class.. The crusader can use his way of life armor bonus with a shield.
