Cleanse and protect

The Vast

Kane joins the party.

Cleansing of surrounding Good shrines and temples across the land begins.

Zombie-purple worm attacks! Gross but eventually re-killed by party.

Surrounded by ancient undead warriors and equally undead king.

A challenge is issued by the old king and Alert accepts.

Alert wins.

Undead warriors not hostile and walk off with their fallen king.

Heroes follow sneakily.

Orcus-cultists appear, trying to make undead turn back and kill heroes. Undead don't care.

Heroes attack! Battle ensues. Necromancers wiped out by Summoned tigers in a singe round. Enemy clerics and blackguards put up a fight at first but after several fall the villains escape using potions of Invisibility.

Frustrated the heroes return to home base.
