Design Tips

Since Crimson Skies is essentially a game of stone-paper-scissors, I figured that the most important consideration on how well a plane flies is the number of hexes it can reach and the number of unique positions /maneouver arrows) it can use. So I made a table out of it.

Arrow you can use
Speed
G 1 2 3 4 5
1 10 21 30 33 36
2 14 29 46 53 53
3 16 35 54 65 65
4 17 40 63 80 88
5 17 42 67 88 98

Hexes you can reach
Speed
G 1 2 3 4 5
1 3 8 15 16 17
2 3 10 15 21 21
3 3 10 15 23 23
4 3 10 17 27 35
5 3 10 17 27 35

Arrows + Hexes

3 19 45 69 88 88
4 20 50 63 107 123
5 20 52 67 115 133

Arrow to Hex ratio
