Collisions

This supersedes the rules on Collisions with objects, in the CS rulebook, p 27. The rules on collisions between planes remain unchanged.

Whenever you end your movement in the same hex as a terrain feature, you must make a check for collision. You can fly over and around all on-map objects, so they pose no threat unless you actually end up in their hex. While suffering from random movement, however, you can collide in each hex you move into.

As with any roll, a result of 1 is always a failure and 10 is always a success.

To avoid a collision with a terrain feature, a check must be made. If several objects are in the hex, you must check for collision with each. This includes parts of a zeppelin.

10 is the Base Target Number

Object Target Number of the object in hex
    + Current Speed
    – Pilot's Natural Touch skill

    +2 if pilot stunned
